To report a theft, please contact the insurance company assona at kundenservice@assona.com or contact the retailer directly.
Please provide the following information to assona or your authorized dealer:

The lease payment is calculated based on the sales price; in other words, if the lessee receives a discount, the monthly lease payment decreases.
Tax-related issues (such as non-cash benefits and residual value calculations at the end of the term) always refer to the MSRP.
Here you will find the insurance benefits for inspections, including the UVV safety check, which the authorized dealer can submit to the insurance company based on the insurance package:

Wear-and-tear parts can be submitted to the insurance company assona on a separate invoice throughout the entire 36-month lease term.
The dealer settles all insurance claims (including UVV) directly with the insurance company assona using the frame number. No additional code or insurance number is required.
Reimbursement by eurorad is not possible.

Important Note:
Starting April 7, 2026, authorized dealers will process inspection invoices exclusively through the new credit memo procedure in the Dienstrad tool. The previous billing method via Assona will no longer be available for inspections as of that date and can therefore no longer be accepted.

In general, all insurance services (including UVV) can be processed through any eurorad partner at https://www.eurorad.de/haendlersuche. There is no requirement to use the dealer from whom the bicycle was purchased.
It is advisable to check in advance with the dealer of your choice to see if they also offer services for this brand or bicycles from other manufacturers.

With salary conversion, a portion of the gross salary is converted into a benefit in kind, such as a company bicycle. The monthly lease payment is deducted directly from the gross salary. This reduces taxes and social security contributions, resulting in financial savings compared to a direct purchase.
Sample Calculation: /wp-content/uploads/2025/05/eurorad_Fact_Sheet_on_Salary_Conversion_200072d5ae.pdf
Depending on the employer's tax situation, either the total gross lease payment or the net amount is deducted from the gross salary. The actual monthly net cost depends on individual, personal factors.
For data protection reasons, we are not permitted to collect or process this information, which is why we do not include this amount in the quote. For this reason, the actual monthly net payment is not listed in the quote and can only be calculated by the lessee using the lease calculator.
If all the information is entered correctly, the calculator provides a very accurate estimate of the monthly financial impact—that is, the amount that is ultimately reflected in your take-home pay.
As the lessee, the employer decides on the following matters:
-Terms and Conditions of Participation
-Number of wheels
-Maximum purchase price for the bikes
-Insurance Package
-who is allowed to use the bicycle
- early termination of the lease (e.g., due to leaving the company)
-co-leasing a castle
The lessee will receive an automatic notification 12 weeks before the lease expires, informing them that their contract is about to end. In that email, they can indicate whether they would like to purchase the bike.
The “buyout amount” is displayed directly and billed to the lessee upon completion of the lease. The buyout amount is currently calculated at 16% of the MSRP. For tax reasons, we cannot guarantee that we will purchase the vehicle.
You can also find tax-related information here.
Upon acceptance and payment of the offer, ownership of the leased asset is transferred. Alternatively, the asset may be returned. In this case, it is possible to enter into a follow-up lease at any time thereafter.
If the bike is not purchased, the lessee will receive all the information regarding its return via email. The return process may vary depending on the dealer.
You cannot apply for a lease if
-the employee is in the probationary period,
-the employee is not on a permanent contract,
-the employee is hired as a student or trainee,
-the company fails the credit check,
-the company is registered as a UG.

Yes, if the former lease user does not wish to take over their company bike at the end of the lease term, you as a specialist dealer are obliged to take back the company bike.

– an early buyout offer
– the ability to transfer the contract to the new employer
– a transfer of the contract and leased asset to colleagues
or
– early return (available only with PREMIUM Plus contracts)
The employer, as the lessee, makes the final decision.

Claims for damages to third parties must be handled through personal liability insurance.

PremiumPLUS Insurance offers comprehensive coverage for your company bike, right from the start. Wear and tear is covered 100% starting on the first day; in addition, inspections—including UVV inspections—are subsidized by up to €60 (or €90 per year for contracts starting on or after March 1, 2024) no earlier than 10 and 22 months after the start of the lease, respectively.
In the event of theft or total loss, compensation based on the current market value may be applied toward a new policy if the claim is accepted. Natural disasters are also included in the PremiumPLUS package. The package provides security in the event of termination, extended absences such as parental leave or a sabbatical, and absences due to illness. Additionally, it protects employers and allows for early surrender in the event of death.
The bicycle may continue to be used during parental leave or in the event of an absence due to illness.

Keep in mind that you should choose a bicycle that suits your circumstances. For example, if you have to carry the bicycle up and down stairs, you should pay special attention to how lightweight it is.

Modern lithium-ion batteries no longer have a memory effect. It's even recommended to recharge them periodically to increase their range.

Remove the battery at the end of the season, clean the e-bike, treat it with wax spray, and store it in a dry place. Charge the battery to 50–70% and store it in a frost-free place. Recharge it in January. Check the tires.

Yes, according to Section 8 (2) sentence 8 of the German Income Tax Act (EStG), the bicycle may be used entirely for private purposes. Taxation is based on the "0.25%" rule.

Anything that is permanently attached to the bicycle and is therefore considered part of the equipment can be leased. As a result, these items are treated as part of the acquisition cost. Exception: The lock can also be leased.

The lease term is 36 months.

Our leasing model is generally independent of specific brands and retailers; you can find all of our partner retailers at https://www.eurorad.de/haendlersuche/.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide any information regarding the availability or inventory of specific bikes and/or brands.
Therefore, please check with the authorized dealer to see if the bike you want is available.
Retailers not listed here may request a partnership.

It is possible to lease both a company car and company bicycles at the same time.

The employer specifies how the temporary employment contract must be submitted.
The lease agreement must be submitted in accordance with this requirement so that the employer can then approve the order and the bicycle can be picked up.

Leasing describes the transfer of use and temporary use of a capital asset in return for payment. The change in taxation of company bicycles offers enormous savings potential for employees. This means that the monthly leasing rate can be reduced by up to 50 percent as part of a salary conversion scheme, with unrestricted use.
